Perhaps the story begins in June 1997, when we set off for Europe with hand-sewn panniers and sleeping bags, and then started sewing similar sleeping bags for our friends after our return. Or maybe earlier, when the first backpack for climbing equipment was made of a tarpaulin. Either way, the sewing machine and bicycle were always somewhere close.

Or maybe the story begins in 2008 on the Alta Via Dei Montii Liguria trail. It was there, where we combined our two passions: mountain biking and multi-day hiking through mountains. That was it; new areas, freedom, long distances, a bit of adrenaline. A year later, there were the wild ranges of Durmitor and Komovi in Montenegro, then the "obligatory" Transalp, magical Transpireneica, etc., etc. Backpacks were not convenient for that, and bikepacking was just born somewhere on the other side of the world. We felt the need for the change, but the market at that time had nothing to offer. It was in this reality that our first prototypes were made.

A few trips later, the idea of creating our own workshop is formed. In the utility room, by the kitchen, a Pfaff industrial machine appears, and the first Packman harnesses were gifted to our friends. We took the name TRIGLAV from the Slavic god, worshiped in Szczecin´s lands.

Today TRIGLAV is a place where small group of people create high-class equipment for bikepacking. Regardless of whether it will be a weekend trip with friends to the lake, a race across theEurope, or a lonely journey through Gobi, bags with the Trygław logo are a faithful companion of adventures, a reliable equipmnet that will not disappoint. The ultimate reliability is our main goal, our obsession.

All bags are sewn in our workshop in the north of Poland, in Szczecin. Thanks to this, we have control over every stage of the bag making, from design, through the selection of materials from reputable suppliers, pattern, sewing by hand, to packing in a cardboard box. It also gives us great flexibility and the possibility of continuous improvement of our projects. Before the bag goes into your hands, it lives for several months in the form of sketches, prototypes, and then for at least a year it goes from hand to hand, from bicycle to bicycle with a group of old and trusted "friends of Triglav.

In all our products you will find a unique combination of a respect for traditional craftsmanship with innovation and functionality. Personally, I am proud of such projects as:

Packman (since 2013) - the first such functionally enhanced front harness on the market,
proprietary system of stiffening and stabilizing saddle bags (from 2015),
a double-sided bag in the Big Sloth Plus frame (Sierra Nevada 2015),
frame bags sewn according to the One Seam Line concept (2017).

This is the best evidence of our individual design path based on our own experience and that of our friends.
